Dartford Borough Council are set to announce plans (or at least provide an update) for the  Development of the Station Quarter, the Former Co-operative Store (Hythe Street) & the Kent Road Former Westgate Car Park. This is an item on the agenda for the Cabinet Advisory Panel meeting on Monday 19 January (reporting to the full Cabinet on Thursday 22 January).  At present, the item is marked as report to follow; however members are being invited to ‘consider proposals for the marketing of, and ancillary matters relating to, the development of the Station Quarter, the former Co-operative Department Store site (Hythe Street), and the Kent Road former Westgate Car Park.’  The full agenda can be accessed here; other items being considered include:-

    Probably best to wait for this report to be made available. However, I understand that the site is ‘owned’ as some sort of partnership between DBC and the Homes and Communities Agency.
    I presume there will be provision for some housing in the plans.
