Regarding the transport issues in and around Dartford yesterday, I could have included hundreds of tweets from frustrated road and rail travellers.  The roads issue is one we have been banging on about for several months and earlier this week the Leader of Dartford Borough Council finally acknowledged that there is a problem.  If the last few days are anything to go by, it may be that we can expect these problems to continue well into the New Year. Hopefully Councillor Kite and his colleagues can find a way to alleviate the situation sooner, rather than later.  Last night, in response to an enquiry regarding Bob Dunn Way traffic problems, I suggested contacting the local Kent County Councillor, Tom Maddison.  It has been suggested today that residents also may want to direct their concerns to the KCC Cabinet Member responsible for Transport, David Brazier.  This would be applicable for all areas in the Borough, not just Bob Dunn Way.
