IN THE NEWS TODAY
Dartford Borough Council Scrutiny Committee, Tuesday 25 November – the agenda for this meeting has been published. It includes an item ‘KCC Refurbishment of Dartford Library / Implications for Dartford Museum – to receive an update from KCC Officers’. This item was due to be considered by the Scrutiny Committee at their meeting in September. However, it was agreed to defer this matter due to ‘the absence of KCC Officers Members’. Details of the consultation carried out by Kent County Council can be seen here and they advised in this that the results of the consultation will be published by 22 December. Also, for reference, we published an editorial on this subject in September.
