Please think of using the Minor Injury Unit at Gravesham Community Hospital rather than A&E if you are suffering from a minor injury.  The Unit is open from 8am until 8pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and has now extended it hours for X-rays and the Wound Clinic.  Patients will usually be seen quicker than attending an A&E Department – further advice from Darent Valley Hospital

BBC South East Today – A controversial church, whose leaders believe in witchcraft and possession, is applying to open a primary school in Kent. Winners’ Chapel International, which is already under investigation by the Charity Commission, wants to set up a school in Dartford. The church’s leader, who is Nigerian, has been filmed slapping a young woman during a church service.  Human rights campaigners and the National Secular Society are urging the Department for Education to turn down the application.  Our Social Affairs Correspondent Yvette Austin has this exclusive report.

Following yesterday’s update in which we reported that The Net Church on East Hill had been sold, it now appears that The Net Church have bought the Gala Bingo building in Dartford.
