As reported on this blog on 13 October, Lidl are holding a public consultation on Tuesday 4 November at 19:00 at Holy Trinity Church.

Lidl will be submitting a revised application for a supermarket development on the site of the old police station in Instone Road, and are seeking the public’s opinion and backing prior to approaching Dartford Borough Council.  This follows the council’s rejection their earlier application in April 2012 for a store on the same site.

In the light of the Tesco / Lowfield Street developments (or lack of…), Tuesday’s open event at the church is a genuine opportunity for the public to voice their opinion on what has become a topic of heated discussion.
