Fouling of footpaths – it has been reported by walkers that dog fouling of the footpaths and farmland is increasingly becoming a problem. This is not only unpleasant but can be a health hazard. Please when you are walking your dogs, be considerate to others and take bags with you to clear up any mess. There are bins provided throughout the parish, but if there is not one in the vicinity, please take the bag home with you and dispose of it. We have also been asked “what are the rules regarding dogs on leads”. This is the legal response from KCC Footpaths.

End of Life Care Survey by NHS Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Clinical Commissioning Group. If there is one thing in life that is constant, it is that at some point it will end. We all plan for the future – from savings to funerals – but few give any thought to what sort of care we would like during our final days. Peoples’ wishes about how they would like to be cared for, at this sensitive time, are so important that the NHS Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is planning to introduce an electronic system. This will allow GPs, community nurses, hospice staff, ambulance crews and other professionals to access information securely online anytime of the day or night in order to provide the best possible care to people who are dying.
