Cotton Lane/Elizabeth Street, Stone – issues with cutting back vegetation from the footpaths.  This has been discussed on the Stone Parish Council Facebook page on several occasions.  The latest update provided is that Kent County Council are going to try to do this work in Elizabeth Street on Wednesday 1 October.   They had attempted to do this work some weeks ago, however it was reported that the no parking cones they had put out to stop people parking in order to get their cutters along the hedge line were stolen, so everyone then parked there.  Regarding Cotton Lane, KCC are working with Stone Parish Council and the landowners to cut this back.  KCC will be providing a quote for the works and SPC will be liaising with the landowners.
