On Sunday 21 September, Sky Ride Local in Kent is organising a nice, easy, circular cycle ride through Central Park, heading out on cycle paths to the site of the Queen Elizabeth Bridge before riding around the lakes near  Littlebrook Power Station.

The distance for this free, guided ride is about seven miles and it sets out at 2pm from the Healthy Living Centre in St Edmunds Road, DA1 5ND.  It lasts for around 1 hours 45 mins, with 1 hour of cycling time.  It is suitable for Mountain Bike, Hybrid (off road tyres) and Hybrid (road tyres).  It is also suitable for child trailers.

At the time of publication, there are six free places available and more details of the ride and how to book can be found at goskyride.com
